Rob took the kids out with him today to go pick up his new motorcycle. He let me sleep, and sleep I did. I didn't wake until 1430, so I got a nice 12-hour sleep in. Sweeeeet.
When I woke up, I heard noises outside. I knew what it was, so I grabbed some clothes and shoes, and my camera, and headed out for the big arrival.
Rob's not one to wear his emotions on his sleeve, but I could tell that he was pretty damn happy to have his new bike.
The first job was to back it slowly off the U-haul trailer. This proved easier said than done at the point where his feet no longer reached the ground!
Yep. That's what he just had to have, apparently, because of his small stature. It's a good thing they threw in those $300 riding boots he's now sporting.
Meanwhile, the kids have been knocked out in the backseat the entire time, even though we were slamming car doors and everything. Why couldn't they do that for me yesterday? Huh?!
Rob took 'er for a quick test drive around the barrio.
So, there it is. Say your prayers!
Fin.

Ahh, that new motorcycle smell. ;)
And he's wearing brightly colored leathers, just like my motorcycle instructor (who was kind of an ass, but anyway) recommended.
Fun!

YAY! Love the bike...congrats. Adorable kids, as usual...
However - worrisome carseat safety. Bulky coats are a no no :(

I am soo jealous, I want a bike even if it's not new. It is so beautiful and shiny. Tell him to enjoy a ride for me :)

Ooh, I can't wait to see it in person! It makes Rob look like a shrimp! Is it really huge?
So, when are you selling the truck?
