1. Tell us about one thing that you'd change about yourself if you could.
I would give myself more stick-tuitiveness when it comes to exercising.
2. Mattel decides to make a Barbie-like (or Ken-like) doll of you -- what would be the most important accessory or accessories they would absolutely have to package you with in order to portray your lifestyle?
Yarn, knitting needles, and crochet hooks! Certainly, I could come up with other and maybe better representative artifacts of myself, but as that was the first thing that came to mind, it works for me!
3. Hey, do you like surprises? If yes, what kinds?
I LOVE surprises! All sorts. I doesn't really make sense, since I am huge on planning ahead, but I love to be suprised. The best surprises come from the children: My child laughs when I think she is about to cry, or my child asks a stumper of an intelligent question when I didn't think he had it in him, or my child does something so silly and ridiculous and straight-up funny that I laugh for a week thinking about it. That's the best!
4. What was the last snail mail that you received that was significant?
Well, I thought it was going to be today when an official-looking letter came from the School Superintendent, giving us approval to home-school, but it was something else. So, let's see... probably the last donations we received, from Lady M, for CARE Package. Those are always meaningful for me.
5. If you could pick out a brand new nickname for yourself, what would you choose and why?
I'm pretty fond of Smellyann, since I use it anywhere and everywhere. It's amusing to me.
6. John Edward's mistress was on Oprah this past Thursday. She stated that no third person can break up a marriage, so it had to be broken before the two started doing the nasty. Do you buy that?
No, I don't, not entirely. A person can have an affair while being crazy in love with his or her spouse and having no major problems in the marriage. However, if a third person walks up to a married person and completely captivates him or her to the point where an affair occurs, there must be something missing in the marriage for that person in order for him or her to have acted upon it, even if that something was only that other, more captivating person.
7. Do you think it is okay to keep secrets from your significant other?
Yes, if the only reason for sharing that secret would be to hurt that person.
8. Have you ever played Truth or Dare? If yes, what's the weirdest dare that you did?
Yes, but it's been so long that I don't remember any of the dares. We played Quelf last night with Tim and Stephanie, though, and there were some dare-like requests in the game. It was most hilarious when Rob had to move his player with his elbows while simultaneously yelling at it (and all the other pieces being moved) like a drill sargeant. We all died laughing.
9. What, in hindsight, is the stupidest thing that you have ever done?
Oh, gosh. I do lots of stupid things all the time. I think the most recent stupid thing was shaving off the top of my finger, including the nail and nail bed. I did that yesterday in the shower, and it hurts like a mofo! Please do not ask me how I did it; chances are, I won't tell you!
Fin.
