knocking on wood here too, although the woman who collects the money from the pub games machines was car jacked near my house, thats probably the closest i've come thankfully

Pamela M. Kramer

Not me personally. Knocking on wood.

Hubby and I have been identity theft victims. It really is horrible how credit card companies treat the victims like they were the ones that did something wrong.

A crime yes. As a child that should not have happened to me.

As an adult. Yes. We were almost robbed on the beach by thugs. I think they got money from my dh. Sigh. Not sure though. We don't walk around with cash.

I have my heart stolen a few times ;) ... but really, I have not been a victim of anything so criminal. I had my sunglasses snatch away from me in the street once. Other than not, nothing more serious, and I HOPE it stays that way for me and for everybody else.
However, I have an uncle who was murdered. The criminal was never caught.

i am sorry if this keeps posting over and over... it seems to not let me want to comment..
:(
I have not been a victim of a crime... except for the dine and dash times when i was a manager... but luckily that is it...
so sorry for what you have gone through

Pam

Not myself. The car dealership right down the street from us has been held up and that hits a little too close to home.

Becca

I haven't ever been the victim of a serious crime, but I have had my car and house vandalized (minorly) by people who didn't like me. We have had all kinds of stores in my SAFE area be robbed lately...it is so scary!

Sues2u2

When we lived in England our house was broken into & my wallet & wedding rings were stolen. The really scary part is that we were home & chased them away. I did end up getting everything back but I was terrified to be home alone for a long time.

Ellen-TCMom

I have been lucky enough to not be a victim of crime, I am sorry you were!

Denise

I have had an ex steal my credit card and rack up a huge bill thanks to porn he bought. Other than that, not really...

Stacy Uncorked

Yes, I have - but like you, I rarely talk about it.
