This has been a week of pain and injury for my kids, so of course I have all that documented on film digitalizationism. In witnesseth whereof:
Sophia slammed her hand in a heavy door and had to go to the ER for x-rays on Sunday. Nothing was broken, thank God, but they bandaged her up pretty well as there were external booboos, too. She's fine now. I think.
On Monday, Chloë had her braces installed at the dentist, and she's been sore and needing Tylenol & Motrin ever since. (Not to mention to the damage to our checking account...)
On Tuesday, Jacky was crying for the third day in a row, complaining of mouth pain, but this was different. So in the evening. Rob rushed him to the same dentist we'd seen the day before, and they extracted an abscessed tooth. Poor baby. He is prone to getting lots of bad cavities and needs more removed, but they only took the painful one this time.
The tooth. It's freakin' huge, huh?? You can see the cavity there on the left. It stinks like mad, too. Ick.
Anyway, link up at 5 Minutes for Mom if you're wordless-ish today, too.
Fin.

The important thing to do next is to alleviate the pain, especially when at home or school. Your kid is so tough to last the dental procedure! Jacky deserves an award for such an accomplishment.

That tooth does look big, and it looks bigger in that box because it takes up so much space. Anyway, getting something like that removed can be rough. Let Jacky take it easy, and soon enough, he'll be all smiles with one bad tooth out of the equation.

Ouch!!! Here's hoping all the excitement is over for a while.

Poor kiddos! Hopefully the "bad things come in threes" will be true and no one will break, maim or otherwise injure anything else! LOL
