I am glad to hear you are on the mend with your Dad, I think my relationship is beyond repair. I wish you continued success and happiness. Dad's are special

Tami

It's great you and your dad are trying to put things in the past and talk. OMG! LICE! I remember my boys got lice from wearing baseball helmets of other players. We went out and bought their own helmets! I converted to a laptop because I thought it was so cool to be able to go where ever with it. Now I am jealous of my husbands CPU. It's an apple with a HUGE screen!! Good luck with yours.

Lice. Hate em. Glad they are gone from your house.

My "given" granddaughter comes to her daddy's with lice on a regular basis. She also has luscious thick curly hair. We have discovered that good old Mayo is the best lice-ridding substance known to man, or woman.

We slather it all over her head, and make sure her hair is THICK with it. Then we tape saran wrap or other plastic to tightly around her head like a shower cap.

She sleeps all night like that.

Then we partially wash her hair - - - leaving enough mayo in to keep it slippery.

Now comes the LONG part - - - we get the tiny little knit-picker and go through EVERY BIT of her hair with it multiple times. We section off as we go so we are sure not to miss any portions. We wipe off dead lice and eggs between each pass with the comb.

It is slow, agonizing work - - - but it works.

oh, NOW I tell you! HA - - - after you've solved your issues!
