I have no idea what that title means. It was what was fresh in my head when I woke up from my nap this afternoon. I don't remember anything about the dream but that heavily-drawled last line.
I also dreamed that we were on our cruise and went to sleep. We overslept and completely missed going ashore for all three ports in Greece. Suckage! That's one deep sleep.
Today was semi-productive. I was able to read to all three kids a little bit, for our Summer Reading Program at the library. My goal is a bare minimum ten minutes each day, which is what we accomplished. Chloë read to herself for an additional forty minutes!
And I did a bunch of crocheting on the little sundress for Caroline, Stephanie's niece. I actually crocheted my way through the hour-long wait at ballet tonight, instead of lasting five minutes before taking a nap as in the last few weeks! The yoke (top) is done, and I'm well on my way on the skirt:
In a minute, I'm going to iron a Brownies Try-It patch onto Chloë's Brownies vest, and then I'm going to iron all the fabric that I (with Rob's help) prewashed today. I may get into cutting out pieces tonight, but I don't know about that. I had a migraine, and my Relpax has kicked in hard. I feel like a bit of a dullard right now. Tonight, Rob decided to fire up the grill for the tuna steak he purchased from Uncle Chuck the fishmonger on Saturday. He always has a beer in hand when he grills - and not just then - which is why I bought him a 12-month subscription to the Microbeer of the Month club for Father's Day. Don't worry, he won't read this on time, and even if he did, I couldn't wait anymore and gave him the certificate tonight! He's well pleased, even if it wasn't the skydive he guessed. Next time, baby. Does it look a little tough to you? Yeah, that's because it was. Hmm. Next time I think I'm going to bake it en papillote, with some lemon and maybe some zuke slices. Well, my dears, that iron isn't getting any hotter. Time to go. Are any of you going to try your hand at knitting or crocheting? And how, exactly, do you think grampar caught gram-mar? Fin.
