Saturday 9: Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere

1. Do you ever feel like you are nowhere?
On the contrary; I often feel like I am everywhere, doing everything, all at once. Not in a ubiquitous, God-like way, but in an, "Oh, my God, does my life ever slow down?!" way.
2. Do you keep your cool no matter what is going on around you?
On the contrary; I lose my cool no matter what is going on around me. I excel at going berserk.
3. Do you feel that career should be more important than your love life?
On the contrary; I think family, including one's spouse or sig-o, should always come before one's occupation if one is truly going to pursue happiness.
4. In what way do you feel that you are unique?
On the... oh. I guess I need to cut that out now. I am unique in many ways. In the movie of my life, only I could truly play me. Anyone else wouldn't be able to capture the quintessence of my spirit. Well, maybe Natalie Portman. She's pretty good, you know.
5. Do you feel that there is a part of you that you need to hide from most people?
Absolutely, there is a part of me that I keep hidden except from the guy I married and the gal who therapizes me. Everyone else is kept firmly on the other side of The Wall.
6. Have you ever held on to a relationship even though you truly knew it was already over?
Sad to say, but yes. I needed help paying the rent, after all. There it is, in print. (P.S. Then he broke my two front teeth, and I managed to pay the rent just fine after that, thanks.)

Honey, we are broke as a joke right now, but every time my guy walks through that door, whips me into his sweaty, overworked arms and says, "Hey, baby," I know I'm the luckiest girl in the whole wide house.
9. Do you think staying celibate between relationships is important?
Celibate? Isn't that a kind of fish? Dudes. You are asking the wrong person that question. Hablo en serio.
