The Gardenieres are hand-picked green thumbs led by Master Gardener William Moss. They're real-life gardening enthusiasts with real-world experience when it comes to growing... anything! They'll be covering the country, inspiring the rest of us to get out and garden, facing unique growing challenges and meeting us online, in social networks and even, occasionally, in our own neighborhoods! They want to help us make this the most remarkable, conversational, and enjoyable growing season ever!
One thing I really want to get into is creating our own potted herb garden. Watch the video above to see how it can be done. I can't wait to get started! I've always wanted to be able to just clip my own fresh herbs when I'm cooking, right there on the spot, instead of going to the trouble and expense of buying them and, too, risking them going bad before I even get a chance to use them. Having my own potted garden will be great, and Hubs is excited about it, too, since he does most of our cooking!
For this project, the Miracle-Gro products needed will be:
- Miracle-Gro Potting Mix, which is ideal for all kinds of container & potted plants, feeds plants for up to six months with Miracle-Gro Continuous Release Plant Food, and has rich, organic materials to improve drainage and air flow; and,
- Miracle-Gro LiquaFeed, which makes feeding the potted herbs as easy as watering, feeds plants through both the leaves and roots, and is good for use with flowers, veggies, and trees & shrubs, too!
If you want to try this or any other gardening project this Fall - or later - head on over to the Miracle-Gro Facebook page to talk with other gardeners about your project and share stories!
