Well, it's 12:13 AM right now, so you can't see it, but this is the picture I took around sunset last night, in our neighborhood.

... that this crew got to go up to New York this past week for my high school reunion. It was a great time, and I'm glad we went!
3. In the kitchen…
... well, my kitchen is a disaster at the moment, and we have few groceries. I should probably remedy that soon! But this picture, above, is from my pallie-girl Shana's house (she of the Josh Groban concert violin-playing mentioned in yesterday's Saturdday 9 post). We spent Saturday night there a week ago, and she was a perfect hostess.
4. I am wearing…
Well, I just got out of the tub, so I'm not wearing a whole helluva lot right now, but this is what I wore to my reunion get-together last Friday night. That's me on the far right, wearing something I never would have thought I'd have worn!

...hopefully, memories and connections my children will cherish for years to come!

... to miss this sister of mine, right, during the year before we go back up to New York!

... up on my Native American history, because that will largely be the focus of our coming school year here at Sweet Pea Academy. I can't wait! If you have any personal connections, I'd love to talk to you about them!

... how blessed I am to have such great friends in my life, like Dr. Lisa above (my BFF)!

... whether I should let me 9yo, Sophia, get permanent pink streaks in her sweet blond hair, since these have already faded. I think they're tres cool.

... involve doing a lot of damage to this stash, since I haven't done any knitting in about 10 days, when I'm not cleaning this icky house and working on this year's curriculum.

... involves posting silly things like this picture on Instagram (@Smellyann) when I'm not doing the above-referenced planning, cleaning, and knitting. I'm insta-happy.
